Sextant Kit with Aritificial Horizon

Now you can build your own sextant from a cardboard flat pack. This cardboard assembly kit allows you to create a beautiful and fully functioning scientific instrument.

It took us about three hours to assemble from scratch, so you'll need some time, a couple of tools and careful fingers, but we think the reward is worth it.

Included with the Sextant Kit is a separate kit for building an artificial horizon, including spirit level, for use with the Sextant. 

Once it's complete, you can have a go at taking sightings using the Sextant, although we wouldn't recommend relying on it for ocean voyages, cardboard isn't the best material for the open sea.
